Conjunctions
A conjunction is a word that joins words, phrases, and clauses.
There are 3 types of conjunctions: coordinating conjunctions, correlative conjunctions, and subordinating conjunctions.
Coordinating conjunctions join words or groups of words that are equal in importance to each other.

nor
or
so
yet
Correlative conjunctions are pairs of coordinating conjuctions.
both… and
either… or
neither… nor
not only… but also
whether… or
Subordinating onjunctions are used to connect independent and dependent clauses ( groups of words with both a subject and a verb, but they are not equal as only an independent clause can stand on its own ).
